How You Can Help Us to Help Others

Changes in the economy have resulted in more people in need because of inadequate income and cutbacks in State and Federal budgets. Consider donating to St. Vincent de Paul -
  • Donate goods for the Thrift Store - clean and serviceable clothing, furniture, small appliances, bedding, jewelry, toys, and more
  • Surplus restaurant prepared foods for our kitchen
  • Canned and packaged goods, fresh vegetables and fruit from grocery stores and their suppliers
  • Volunteer your time in one of our nine service areas - call our Volunteer Coordinator at the office
  • Financial contributions to our Conferences, and to the Council Endowment Fund (fully deductible) – Managed by the Oregon Community Foundation, call them at 541-773-8987 for more info, or our office at 541-772-3828
  • Support for Fund Raising events – Quarterly Dinner/Auctions; Annual Customer Appreciation Sale;
    Special Yearly Events

  • Give financial support
"Needs" for The Urban Rest Stop:
  • Bath Towels: preferably not white (they get very dingy with being washed at least 5 times each week!)  - used are fine
  • Wash Cloths (see above)
  • Baby wipes
  • Men or women's deodorant
  • Brushes (plastic bristles)
  • Recycled men's sports socks
  • Recylced T shirts (all sizes - especially XX and XXX)
  • Used (clean) plastic grocery sacks (clients use them for the clothes they take off when they shower
